The Greenspun College of Urban Affairs strongly recommends that students address their General Education Core curriculum requirements through our college. The following classes offered in our college meet graduation requirements. Life and Physical Science
In addition
incoming freshmen and transfer students under 30 credits are strongly encouraged to take:
COM 100 - Educational, Career, and Personal Development
during their first year at UNLV. This course will provide an overview of the Greenspun College of Urban Affairs while offering helpful advice on what makes a successful college student. English Composition - Total Credits: 6
English Literature - Total Credits: 3
Constitutions - Total Credits: 3-6
Mathematics - Total Credits: 3
MATH 120 or higher Distribution Requirements Humanities and Fine Arts
Humanities and Fine Arts - Total Credits: 9 Life and Physical Sciences and Analytical Thinking - Total Credits: 9-10 - PHIL 102 - Critical Thinking and Reasoning
and two courses from life and physical sciences category; at least one must be a lab.
Multicultural and International

Outside Area of Interest - Total Credits: 15
General Electives - Total Credits: 30-39
Note
- Every student must complete a three-credit multicultural course and a three-credit international course. Courses satisfying other requirements may simultaneously satisfy the multicultural and international requirements if they appear on the approved lists. However, one course cannot satisfy both the multicultural and the international requirements.
