NURS 778 - Geographic Information Systems for Health

Credits 3

Introduces the use of epidemiologic methods and modern geographic information systems to analyze the relationships between socioeconomic, physical, geopolitical, and demographic factors and urban health. These techniques for the basis of assessment of urban health problems to inform, plan, deliver, and evaluate appropriate interventions to ensure urban sustainability.

Prerequisites
Admission into doctoral program or permission of instructor.
