MUS 350 - The Theory and Application of Microphones This course will teach the fundamentals of microphone care, choice, placement and techniques for recording. It will also provide an in-depth look at the different types of microphones, their polar patterns and various characteristics. Other aspects such as self-noise, sensitivity and construction will also be covered.
Credits: 3 Prerequisites: MUS 231 Notes: May be repeated to a maximum of six credits.
