MATH 128 - Precalculus and Trigonometry

Relations, functions, and their graphs; polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithm, and trigonometric functions; analytic trigonometry; systems of equations and inequalities; conics; mathematical induction; sequences and series. A combination of   and   .

Prerequisites: Three years of high school mathematics at the level of algebra and above, and a satisfactory score on a placement exam (ACT, SAT, or Math Placement Test).  The ALEKS score requires TRIG Subscore of 41% or higher, with an ALEKS score of 61-75%. To enroll using the ALEKS score, please see your academic advising center to obtain consent. 
Notes: Duplicate credits cannot be earned for MATH 128 and any of the following: MATH 124, MATH 126, MATH 127.
