This Certificate in French for the Professions focuses on developing advanced specific language skills for the effective use of the French language in professional settings. This program should be of particular interest to students considering careers in international business, law, government service, health care, hospitality, journalism, media, or other professions where proficiency in a second language is important.

Learning Outcomes
Students will be able to:
- Develop strategic mastery of professional French oral and written proficiency to the B2 level (CEFRL) in an immersive context, to maximize practice and familiarization;
- Hone real-world professional skills in the target language to compete in today’s French-speaking professional world.
- Develop personalized acquisition of vocabulary, grammar, and language-specific professional and cultural norms built around the learner’s individual professional goals.
- Develop cultural awareness and nuanced interpersonal professional practices in polyglottal Las Vegas and the global market.
