Certificate in Business Spanish


This Certificate in Business Spanish focuses on developing advanced specific language skills for the effective use of the Spanish language in professional business settings. This program should be of particular interest to students considering careers in business, national or international, marketing, hospitality, or other professions where proficiency in a second language is important.

Learning Outcomes

Students will be able to:

  • Acquire real-world skills to compete in today’s Spanish-speaking business world, including job interviews, business meetings, and sales pitching in the target language.
  • Gain strategic mastery of business communication in a bilingual setting.
  • Develop cultural awareness and nuanced interpersonal business practices both, locally and in the global market.
  • Incorporate specialized vocabulary and grammar built around their individual professional goals.
  • Create personalized materials in Spanish including an authentic resume, business plan, professional emails, and sales pitch.
