The Certificate in Secondary Global Teaching is designed primarily to target secondary teachers who seek teaching positions in International Baccalaureate (IB) schools around the world. The Certificate in Secondary Global Teaching recognizes practical understanding of curriculum, pedagogical and assessment issues related to teaching in an IB School. This certificate prepares students with the knowledge, skills, dispositions and experiences to qualify for the IB Certificate in Teaching and Learning.

Modality: Blended
This program requires some In-Person courses to graduate, while other courses can be taken online. A blended student is one who has committed to pursuing their degree, minor, certificate, or microcredential through both in-person and online education.

To obtain this certificate, you must be a degree seeking undergraduate student pursuing an approved UNLV bachelor’s degree. Please see Graduation Policies for complete information.
