The Sociology Department offers an interdisciplinary Minor in Religious Studies open to students across the university. Students learn to explore the varied ways human beings find meaning, purpose, and wonder in their lives; engage in comparative, cross-cultural, and interdisciplinary studies that complement a variety of undergraduate majors across the university; and communicate the complex ways that religion and spirituality intersect with political, social, and cultural dynamics across time and place.
Please see the UNLV College of Liberal Arts Department of Sociology web page for information about department programs, faculty and facilities. Degree worksheets are available on the UNLV Degrees Directory.
