Music Minor

The music minor offers students an opportunity to acquire basic knowledge of music theory, music history, and performance skills.

Music Minor - Total Credits: 26

Courses Include:

  • The Music Minor includes:

  • Two semesters of applied music at 2 credits each; 2 credits of ensemble; and 12 credits of upper-division electives selected from the following: applied study (maximum of 4 credits), ensemble (maximum of 4 credits), music theory /history (maximum of 6 additional credits), music education (maximum of 3 credits), music technology (maximum of 3 credits), and conducting (maximum of 4 credits).
