Spanish Minor


Spanish is the second language of the United States, one of the three most widely spoken languages in the world, and one of the five diplomatic languages of the United Nations.

Learning Outcomes

Communication

Eighteen credits in Spanish, distributed as follows:

Depending on original placement, up to nine credits may be taken from this group of courses: 

 , SPAN 227 , SPAN 300  SPAN 302 SPAN 401 SPAN 402 .

Of the remaining nine credits, three credits must be at the SPAN 400+ level, and six must be at the SPAN 303+ level.

A minimum of nine of the eighteen credits MUST be courses taken at UNLV, and numbered SPAN 300 or higher.
