CS 115 - Introduction to Computers


Computer literacy. History of computing, description of basic hardware components, use of application software, introduction to Internet resources, uses of computers in society, and the impact of computerization on society.

Credits: 3
Prerequisites: MATH 96  or higher with a grade of C or better, or two years of high school math. SAT score of 500 or better, or ACT score of 20 or better. The maximum number of attempts for this course is three, including earned grades, withdrawals, and audits.
