ACC 405 - Cost Management and Control



Provides a thorough understanding of cost accounting theory and practice with emphasis on product costing concepts and methods, the use of cost information for strategic planning and decision analysis, and current cost topics including the influence of technology on accounting.  This course is crosslisted with ACC 605. Credit at the 600-level requires additional work.

Credits: 3
Prerequisites: Lee Business School major or Accounting minor; and a minimum C grade in ACC 400  and FIN 301 . The maximum number of attempts for this course is three, including earned grades, withdrawals, and audits.
