Overview of Nanotechnology. Physics of the Solid State, Properties of Individual Nanostructures. Bulk Nanostrutured materials, magnetic nanoparticles, Quantum Wells, Wires and Dots, Self-Assembly and Catalysis, nanoscale Biological materials. This course is crosslisted with EE 453. Credit at the 600-level requires additional work.
