SCI 201 - The Scientist in the Anthropogenic World
Examines impacts of anthropogenic climate change from a biological, chemical, geological, environmental, human health, and socioeconomic global perspective, as well as the scientist’s role in studying and communicating those effects to the general public. Includes a service-learning component involving outreach activities to local elementary school children.
Credits: 3 Prerequisites: ENG 102 , SCI 101 Notes: Satisfies Second-Year Seminar Requirement.
