The Bachelor of Science(BS) in Public Health program is a dynamic program taught by dedicated and enthusiastic public health professionals committed to providing mentorship, community inv olvement opportunities, and research projects to all of its students. Anchored in national accreditation principles of innovation and accountability, the program’s faculty, staff, and administrators are united in their commitment to supporting students to enter, progress through, and graduate. The ultimate program outcome being graduating students who are prepared to assume contributing and leadership roles in entry - level public health careers or successful admission to graduate pro grams and post - graduation certification programs.

Entry - level public health careers can be categorized in at least 2 ways – by public health emphasis area and by job setting. Examples of career opportunities sorted by public health emphasis areas include:
