The music minor offers students an opportunity to acquire basic knowledge of music theory, music history, and performance skills.

MUS 131 - Introduction to Music Literature
MUS 202 - Musicianship II
Two semesters of applied music at 2 credits each
2 credits of ensemble
12 credits of upper-division electives selected from the following:
- applied study (maximum of 4 credits)
- ensemble (maximum of 4 credits)
- music theory /history (maximum of 6 additional credits)
- music education (maximum of 3 credits)
- music technology (maximum of 3 credits)
- conducting (maximum of 4 credits)
