Learning Outcomes

  1. Graduates have a fundamental grounding in mathematics, physics, and statistics.

General Education Requirements required to complete in the Pre-Major;

First-Year Seminar, English, Second-Year Seminar, Humanities (distribution requirement) Mathematics, Social Sciences (distribution requirement).

General Education Requirements required to complete in the Pre Major or in Advanced Standing;

Multicultural and International, Constitution, Fine Arts (distribution requirement).

Notes


  1. BLW 302  satisfies one of the Business requirement courses and the University Multicultural Requirement.
  2.  , Engineering Economics, is approved by the University General Education Committee to meet three credits of the social science requirement.
  3. UNLV requires six credits of humanities and six credits of social science. Six of these 12 credits must be taken before the student can achieve Advanced Standing status.   must be taken after completing 30 credits and MATH 181  with a grade of C or better.
  4.   in combination with EGG 202 , preferred for First-Year Seminar.
  5.   will simultaneously satisfy both a humanities requirement and the Second Year Seminar requirement for students obtaining a degree from the College of Engineering that requires more than 120 credits.
