The College of Liberal Arts provides doctoral programs in Anthropology, English, History, Political Science, Clinical Psychology, Psychological and Brain Sciences, and Sociology. Students may also pursue eight Master of Arts degrees and an MFA in Creative Writing. These programs span the college’s humanities and social sciences divisions, supported by nationally recognized, award-winning scholars. Our faculty hold advanced degrees from many of the nation’s most prestigious universities, actively engage in research and creative work that advance their fields and benefit broader communities. Their contributions are essential to graduate education, where students master research methodologies, develop critical analytical skills, and gain a deep understanding of specialized areas within their fields.
