Internships
The Management Department offers an internship course that is open to a limited number of students. An internship consists of supervised, on-site work at various participating local enterprises, culminating in a written report.
Minimum requirements are admission to a business major, junior standing, a 3.00 GPA or higher, and successful completion of at least nine credits of upper-level management courses. Students interested in participating in the internship program should contact the chair of the Department of Management and then apply for approval from Undergraduate Advising.
Students pursuing an internship course are required to do so within their major field. Internship courses are offered on a satisfactory/fail grading basis only and are considered to be a major elective. A student may receive only three credit hours for an internship.
