SW 475 - Treatment of Addictions


Same as CED 450  
Five elements covered include; classification of drugs, phases of treatment of addictions, basic individual and group treatment skills, contents of various treatment approaches, and the treatment guidelines regarding working with special populations, including women, adolescents, elderly, etc. This course is crosslisted with SW 675. Credit at the 600-level requires additional work.
