CS 469 - Introduction to Digital Image Processing
Background and basics of digital image processing. Topics include: the human visual system, image representation, sampling, image mathematics, and geometry, image enhancement, smoothing and sharpening, the fast Fourier transform, and a survey of image restoration methods.
Credits: 3 Prerequisites: , , either or . Prerequisites must be completed with a grade of C or better. The maximum number of attempts for this course is three, including earned grades, withdrawals, and audits. Notes: This course is crosslisted with CS 669. Credit at the 600-level requires additional work.
