CHEM 103 - Preparatory Chemistry


Serves as a preparation for students who wish to take CHEM 121A  - General Chemistry I and who do not place into and/or feel prepared for that course. Introduces general principles and problem solving strategies in chemistry.

Credits: 3
Prerequisites: Credit not allowed in both CHEM 103 and 110. 

 
Corequisites: Concurrent enrollment in MATH 126  or MATH 126E ; or placement into MATH 127 or higher.
Notes: CHEM 103 and CHEM 108 are not intended for General Education enrollment but may satisfy the Non-Lab Science requirement for students who have already completed them as part of a prior major or program requirement. Students should not enroll in these courses solely to meet General Education science requirements
