CED 400 - Field Experience in Human Services
The field experience is designed to help students apply the theories and principles acquired through their coursework to human service practice. Fieldwork is guided by a learning contract developed collaboratively by the student and field supervisor. In addition to the field placement, this course encourages reflection, positive working relationships, and personal resilience through readings, peer interaction, and personal activities.
Credits: 3 Prerequisites: CED 375 , must be formally admitted to Human Services Counseling Program. Notes: Fulfills the UNLV General Education Culminating Experience Requirement.
Students must complete the course with a C or better grade and all 180 hours of field experience to successfully pass the course.
