ME 302 - Materials Mechanics



Study of the response of isotropic elastic solids to load, stress and strain of a point, elasticity, thin walled pressure vessels, torsion, bending, deflection of beams, column failure, and connections.

Credits: 3
Prerequisites:  , OR ME 241 ,  , and  (PHYS 180 , PHYS 180L  OR PHYS 195 , PHYS 195L ). All prerequisite courses must be completed with a grade of C or better. The maximum number of attempts for this course is three, including earned grades, withdrawals, and audits.
