MATH 457 - Introduction to Real Analysis I
Topics include finite and infinite sets, axiomatic study of real numbers, topology of Cartesian spaces, sequences of functions, continuous functions, differentiation of functions of one variable.
Credits: 3 Prerequisites: C or better in both MATH 303 and MATH 283 and C or better in either MATH 330 or MATH 365 . Notes: This course is cross-listed with MAT 657. Credit at the 600-level requires additional work.
Fulfills the UNLV General Education Milestone Experience Requirement.
