BIOL 498 - Scientific Presentations
Seminar for undergraduate students conducting research projects on any biological discipline. Gives students advice and provides them with practical experience on giving oral and written presentations. Discussion of principles of good visual communication and demonstrations of good and poor selections.
Credits: 1-2 Prerequisites: Minimum grade of C in the following: BIOL 190A and BIOL 190L (formerly BIOL 196), BIOL 191A and BIOL 191L (formerly BIOL 197), CHEM 121A and CHEM 121L , CHEM 122A and CHEM 122L , ENG 102 or ENG 114 or HON 100 , and MATH 127 or 128 or 181 , and consent of instructor. The maximum number of attempts for BIOL 498 is three, including earned grades, withdrawals and audits.
