ANTH 485 - Language and Culture



Examines the interaction of language and culture, focusing on basic aspects of linguistics, models for the study of language use, and intersections of language with gender, power, and status cross-culturally. This course is cross-listed with ANTH 685. Credit at the 600-level requires additional work.
