NURS 744 - Professional Issues in Nurse-Midwifery

Credits 3

Examines the transition to become a nurse-midwife practitioner. Explores the profession’s history and roles of its leadership organizations.  Determines current critical issues that impact the profession, nationally and internationally, and addresses organizational and legislative means of implementing change. Prepares manuscripts for publication to the Journal of Midwifery and Women’s Health.
