MED 801 - Emergency Response and Population Health

This immersion experience provides an introduction and orientation to the UNLV School of Medicine’s campus, policies, and the community. Emphasis is placed on the development of patient evaluation skills, knowledge of emergency medical procedures, and awareness of community/public health issues, including qualification for the Nevada National Registry (EMT) Exam.
Prerequisites
School of Medicine student in good standing.
