FIN 480 - Entrepreneurial Finance Focuses on the financial concepts, issues, methods and industry practices relevant to entrepreneurial decision makers. Addresses a variety of topics including financial valuation, various sources of funds, structures and legal issues in arranging financing, the private and public venture capital markets, preparation of business plans, and the initial public offering process. Provides understanding of the segments of the capital markets specializing in start-ups and growth financing.
Credits: 3 Prerequisites: Lee Business School major or Finance minor or Entrepreneurship minor; and a minimum of C grade in FIN 303 and FIN 307 , or FIN 345 . The maximum number of attempts for this course is three.
