COM 414 - Famous Speeches Study of the role of public address in U.S. history. Emphasis on speeches and speakers that played a significant role in U.S. history. Focus of course will rotate at the discretion of instructor. Examples of possible topics include African American public address, point-counterpoint speeches, presidential address, and others. This course is crosslisted with COM 614. Credit at the 600-level requires additional work.
