CpE 417 - Internet of Things Systems

The details and design of Internet of Things systems. The elements of IoT, detailed analysis of IoT sensors, IoT networking and sensor-system communications. The analysis of the process of designing the IoT systems, design of the data management / databases and security requirements. Class is project-based.

Credits 3
Prerequisites CS 135  and (CpE 200   or CS 218 ).  All prerequisites must be completed with a grade of C or better. 
Notes This course is crosslisted with ECG 617. Coursework at the 600-level requires additional work.
