Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE)

Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE) is a regional, nonprofit organization.  Membership includes the 15 western states and the U.S. Pacific Islands, and the Freely Associated States. WICHE and its 15 member states work to improve access to higher education and ensure student success. Its student exchange programs, regional initiatives, and research and policy work allow it to assist constituents throughout the West and beyond.

Residents of WICHE states can gain affordable access to programs, states avoid costly and unnecessary duplication of programs and facilities, and colleges and universities can devote their resources to improving the quality of their educational offerings. wiche.edu/
