Alcoholic Beverages

Neither the storage, possession, nor use of alcoholic beverages is allowed on the university campus or other university property unless prior approval has been obtained in writing from the university’s president or designee. The only exception is in the case of a student over the age of 21 in his or her own residence hall room. Student-sponsored events at which alcoholic beverages will be served may be held in the Student Union, on the Student Union courtyard or on the north field by those recognized student organizations that accept the responsibilities outlined in the UNLV Alcohol Events Policy.
