The Minor in Hospitality Management is designed for non-hospitality majors seeking a foundational understanding of the dynamic and fast-growing hospitality industry. This flexible program allows students to tailor their coursework to align with specific areas of interest within the field, enhancing their professional versatility across a range of related industries.

Hospitality Management Minor - Total Credits: 21
Hospitality Management Core - Credits: 3
Additional Hospitality Management Course - Credits: 3
Lower Division Elective Course - Credits: 3
Students must complete an additional lower level (100 or 200 level) HMD, GAM, FAB, or TCA course. Upper-Division Elective Courses - Credits: 12
Students must complete a minimum of 12 credits of upper-division (300 or 400 level) HMD, GAM, FAB, or TCA courses. Please consult with a Hospitality Academic Advisor for selection of courses. Students will be required to meet any prerequisites required for the upper-division courses. GAM 351 , HMD 351 , and HMD 450 are for majors only. Notes
- Minimum 9 credit hours must be completed at UNLV
- Minimum of C grade is required in courses used toward the minor
