Required Courses

Two required courses:

• CHI 301 - Third-Year Chinese: Conversation and Composition
• CHI 302 - Third-Year Chinese: Grammar and Composition

•  

• One of the following courses:

• CHI 416 - Business Chinese I
• CHI 443 - Modern Chinese Culture Through Film
• CHI 463 - Chinese Immigrant Literature and Film
• COM 412 - Intercultural Communication

Notes

• Completing the language components in Beginning Chinese Language and Culture, Intermediate Chinese Language and Culture, and Advanced Chinese Language and Culture microcredentials fulfills the Certificate in Chinese Language requirements
• Completing the requirements for all three of the above microcredentials fulfills the Minor in Chinese Studies requirements
• A minimum grade of C or higher is required
• A minimum of 50 percent of the courses must be completed at UNLV
