The Earth and Environmental Science Minor is tailored for students outside the College of Sciences. It provides a good background in the topics likely to be covered in an earth science teaching position in Clark County and other areas as well as a solid background to appreciate the natural landscapes and resources in Southern Nevada and the world. The minor consists of 23 credits of geology and geography classes.
