PHYS 300 - Introduction to Physics and Scientific Computing Basic concepts and methods in solving scientific problems in physics and other disciplines computationally. Emphasis on problems not commonly solvable by analytical means. Hands-on experience with real-life problems in physics and scientific computing.
Credits 3 Prerequisites PHYS 152, PHYS 152L or PHYS 180, PHYS 180L.
