NUC 320 - Radiopharmaceuticals Production, distribution, dose preparation, and imaging of radioactive tracers in medicine. Rationale of radiopharmaceutical choice and practical implications of radionuclide characteristics. Laboratory procedures including: handling of radionuclides, use of common equipment, radiopharmaceutical preparation, and aseptic technique.
Credits 4 Prerequisites NUC 315 and NUC 350. Lab/Lecture/Studio Hours Three hours lecture and three hours laboratory each week.
