BIOL 438 - Soil Plant Water Relations in Arid Environments


The class will cover soil plant water relationships relevant to arid environments under limited water resources. Topics that will be discussed in detail include; the hydrologic cycle, water properties, soil physical and chemical properites, environmental demand, plant stress associated with drought and salinity, water quality and irrigation management as it relates to plant growth and productivity.
