CEE 471 - Public Transportation Systems


Analysis and evaluation of mass transit systems, and their operation and management: demand and cost analysis, route design, schedules, and fare policy. Technology of transit systems, including vehicles and structures. Transit financing. Impact on land use and environment. This course is crosslisted with CEE 671. Credit at the 600-level requires additional work.

Credits: 3
Prerequisites: Advanced Standing;    must be completed with a grade of C or better. The maximum number of attempts for this course is three, including earned grades, withdrawals, and audits.
