PHIL 242 - Ethics For Engineers and Scientists



The study of ethical issues that commonly arise in engineering and science practice (e.g., whistle-blowing, the environment). The class begins with ethical theory, followed by case-study-centered discussions designed to enable the recognition and articulation of ethical problems and to utilize institutional support for ethical behavior that already exists in the professional environment.

Prerequisites: For undergraduate degree-seeking students only. ENG 101   and ENG 102  , or HON 100
