CS 115 - Introduction to Computers


Computer literacy. History of computing, description of basic hardware components, use of application software, introduction to Internet resources, uses of computers in society, and the impact of computerization on society.

Credits: 3
Prerequisites: MATH 124  or equivalent or MATH 126  or equivalent or higher with a grade of C or better or eligible to enroll in MATH 127  or higher. The maximum number of attempts for this course is three, including earned grades, withdrawals, and audits.
