BIOL 351 - Microbiology
Microbial systems provides in-depth coverage of prokaryotic cell structure, function, genetics, diversity, ecology, and pathogenesis, with an emphasis on microbial metabolism, bacterial genetics and molecular mechanisms.

Prerequisites: Minimum grade of C in the following: BIOL 190A and BIOL 190L (formerly BIOL 196), BIOL 191A and BIOL 191L (formerly BIOL 197), CHEM 121A and CHEM 121L , CHEM 122A and CHEM 122L , ENG 102 or ENG 114 or HON 100 , and MATH 127 or 128 or 181 . The maximum number of attempts for BIOL 351 is three, including earned grades, withdrawals and audits. Credit not allowed in both BIOL 251 and BIOL 351.
