CEE 752 - Applied Environmental and Analytical Chemistry
Credits 3
Explores processes that influence organic compounds in the environment. Emphasis on application of partitioning, solubility, kinetics, and transformation processes; physicochemical and biological processes; sample preparation/analysis of chemicals in environmental matrices and wastewater. May include liquid-liquid extraction, solid phase extraction, purge & trap, chromatography, spectroscopy and mass spectrometry.
Prerequisites
Graduate standing in civil and environmental engineering or consent of instructor.
