Orientation to the profession of counselor education. Explores: history, trends, and organization of the profession; ethical and legal considerations in counselor education; and program accreditation standards and practices. Emphasis in developing a professional identity as a Counselor Educator.
Prerequisites
Admission into the Counselor Education and Supervision PhD program.
