COM 618 - The Rhetoric of Science

Explores science as a way of knowing (epistemology) and the relationship between language, symbols, and physical reality. Emphasis given to modern and historical scientific controversies, perspectives on the relationship between science and rhetoric over time, and practice producing rhetorically-grounded science communication. Crosslisted with COM 418. Credit at the 600 level requires additional work.
