ATE 702 - Acute Care in Athletic Training
Credits 3
Development of skills for prehospital assessment and care for patients of all ages with various emergency medical conditions and traumatic injuries. Familiarization with selecting, fabricating, and/or customizing prophylactic, assistive, and restrictive devices, materials, and techniques to implement into the plan of care.
Prerequisites
Admission to the Athletic Training Program.
