NURS 806 - Advanced Anesthesia I
Credits 7
Examines concepts and principles of anesthetic pain management including local and regional anesthetics and regional and peripheral blocks. Discusses anesthesia techniques for specific surgical procedures in pediatrics and obstetrics. Describes transition into the provider role which occurs with the guided administration of anesthesia in simulation and clinical practice.
Prerequisites
Admission to the DNP program.
