Explores parasitology and vector biology with an emphasis on public health. Emphasis on parasite diversity, parasite interactions with host immune systems, parasite ecology and behavior, parasite evolution, and parasitic diseases, including Protozoa, Microsporida, Myxozoa, Platyhelminthes, Nematoda, Nematomorpha, Acanthocephala, Annelida, and Pentastomida. Crosslisted with PBH 464. Credit at the 600-level requires additional work.
